ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Partner in the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) group, you will be responsible for leading and managing the transaction advisory practice within the firm. This role requires a deep understanding of financial and operational aspects of transactions, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. You will guide clients through complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, valuations, and restructuring, ensuring the highest standards of service and strategic advice. This role will also ensure leading and mentoring a team of TAS professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute the strategic vision for the transaction advisory practice at the firm.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their strategic objectives and providing tailored advice.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and solutions to complex transaction-related issues while ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet client expectations and adhere to regulatory standards.
Lead and oversee transaction advisory engagements, including due diligence, valuations, financial modeling, and deal structuring.
Provide strategic advice on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other transactions.
Ensure comprehensive analysis and reporting, identifying risks and opportunities related to transactions.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in transaction advisory services.
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of TAS professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Provide thought leadership through publications, presentations, and participation in industry forums.
Collaborate with other partners and practices to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
Represent the firm at industry events and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA required.
Experience:
12+ years of experience in transaction advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields.
Extensive experience in managing complex transactions and providing strategic advisory services.
Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation:
Competitive annual salary in the range of $220,000 to $500,000+ based on individual’s experience level.
