Accounting Manager

Position will be Hybrid or possibly Remote

Salary & Bonus will be commensurate with experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to support our corporate accounting team. This position is based in Manhattan, NY with occasional visits to our Princeton, NJ corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on management of month end close process, reconciliations and related reporting and disclosure requirements

• Coordinate with external auditors and internal departments including divisional directors of finance, FP&A, Tax and Treasury

• Design and implement accounting policies and procedures, act as SME on technical accounting matters

• Review and communicate on deal arrangements and provide education to the business on revenue accounting impacts

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements including cash flow statement and related footnotes and MDA

• Prepare white papers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CPA

• 4-6 years’ experience with minimum of 4 years from Big Four required

• Strong understanding and compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842

• Technical Accounting expertise including SEC reporting requirements

• Related experience with global, publicly traded company preferred

• Experience with major ERP system (Great Plains, Workiva ) preferred

• Excellent time and self-management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines

• Strong Excel skills, and be comfortable with extremely large data volume

• Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing environment a plus

• High attention to detail
